Hi! Cathy is very excited to be a part of Cinderella after being gone from community theatre for 14 years! She did community theatre from 1989-2010 in Detroit Lakes, MN, Casper, WY, and Yuma, AZ! By day, she’s a medical assistant in the Woodwinds Heart Clinic, plus a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant! She has 2 adult sons, both married, with 3 grandsons & 1 granddaughter, and 3 grand dogs and 2 grand cats! So happy you’re here and enjoy the show!!
Christopher Adam (he/him)

Chris is celebrating 20 years of being involved in theatre on and off stage, working with The Phipps, Lakeshore Players Theatre, Ashland Productions, Hill-Murray High School Theatre, UW-River Falls Theatre & Dance Theatre, and Minneapolis Musical Theatre. “Thank you for supporting the local arts in your community.”

Eleanor is so excited for everyone to see Cinderella! Coming off of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this February, she is so excited to be a part of her second production with Open Door. Erin is excited to be back on stage for the first time since 2013. Her previous roles include the evil queen in Once Upon A Mattress and ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors. Being part of the ensemble for Cinderella has been an incredible experience, and she hopes to continue performing now that she has reopened the door.

Jim was in Stars on Broadway 2 but, it took too much time away from his kids. Now that they are grown (and in the show), he has time to get involved again. He was in the choir supporting casts of the ODCT productions of Godspell and Joseph. He is excited to move out onto the stage as part of this classic production.

Alex is so excited to be back making magic with ODCT! A member of the ODCT Board of Directors, Alex has been onstage and behind the scenes for over 40 local productions, with favorite stage management credits including ODCT’s The Little Mermaid and School of Rock, and Ashland Productions’ Beauty and the Beast. It’s been a joy to watch this stellar cast, crew, and staff make the “impossible” possible! Thank you to John and Molly for all their love and support!

Dave enjoys all things theater, whether flocking to the lights or hiding from them. He’s happy to be running away from the lights this time and can’t wait for you to (hopefully) not see him on stage making theater magic happen.

Kellie Cleary (she/her)
Madame
Kellie Cleary brings her passion and experience to the role of Madame in this production of Cinderella. With a degree in speech/theater and communications and experience across acting, singing, dancing, directing, and choreography, she is thrilled to bring this character to life. Memorable past roles include Little Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance. Kellie shares her love of the theater with her two daughters. Her journey highlights her resilience, creativity, and belief in the transformative power of the stage.

Jerry Erickson (he/him)

As a retired minister, Jerry enjoyed playing the minister for the wedding of Ella and Topher in this production. He didn’t start acting until retirement and has since been in Elf: The Musical and A Christmas Carol: The Musical with Chaska Valley Family Theatre, and Brigadoon with Faith Community Theatre. He has thoroughly enjoyed working with all involved in this production.
Katie Fae (she/her)

Katie is very excited to get back into theater after a several year hiatus. She was most recently in Play Inc. Art’s production of Beauty in the Beast in 2018. Her favorite role thus far was Rizzo in her high school’s production of Grease. For fun, she volunteers with community cat rescue/TNR (trap neuter return) and loves to crochet.

Maddie is overjoyed to be reprising her role of the step-sister from her 7th grade middle school musical days. She is excited to be in her first production of an Open Door Community Theatre show and has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone in the cast and crew. Joey is honored to be a part of Open Door Community Theatre’s Cinderella! He hasn’t had any theater experience since his high school’s productions of Little Shop of Horrors and Chicago, where he was in the pit, so this is his acting debut. He’d like to thank those who encouraged him to get out of his comfort zone and onto the stage.

Ian Hardy is excited to come to the stage in his first Minnesotan production as Sebastian in Cinderella alongside his wife Liz. Ian’s previous credits include Owen Musser in The Foreigner, Kit Marlowe in Shakespeare in Love, Katurian in The Pillowman, Juror 3 in Twelve Angry Men, and Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Outside of performing Ian enjoys writing and spending time with his wife.

Liz excited to be sharing the stage with her husband in her first Minnesota production. Originally from Michigan, some of Liz’s favorite past roles include Donna in Mamma Mia, Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act, Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Mayor Matilda Hyde in All Shook Up, and Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka. Outside of performing, Liz enjoys being home with her husband and her hedgehog.

Jacob is excited to be designing his third show for ODCT, after The Little Mermaid and School of Rock. Jacob also can be found working all over the Twin Cities! He is most known for his work at The Lab Theater, Ashland Productions, and The Southern Theater.
Madeline Huss (she/her)
Music Director
Madeline Huss is delighted to work with ODCT for the first time on a musical that is near and dear to her heart. Also, it is her first experience working on a show with her husband Ricky! Huss is a vocal instructor (privately and at St. Croix Preparatory Academy), music director, and a soprano in the MNOpera chorus. She is looking forward to returning to her alma mater, Concordia College Moorhead, this fall as a teaching professor while her former voice instructor takes a sabbatical semester.

Grace is excited to join her first show with Open Door Community Theatre! She can be found acting in and choreographing shows around the Twin Cities. This fall she’ll leave MN to pursue her Musical Theater BFA at AMDA, NY. Christian is excited to be back on the stage for the first time since 2020. He has previously performed at Tartan High School in shows such as Noises Off and Urinetown, as well as the University of Wisconsin Stout in shows such as The Normal Heart and Big Fish. He graduated last year with a bachelor’s degree in computer science (game design). Christian would like to thank his friends and family for being supportive during the rehearsal process, and he hopes everyone will enjoy the show!.

Lauren is very excited to be in the ODCT’s production of Cinderella. She is a student at Hudson High School in Wisconsin where she has been in multiple productions, including her most recent role of Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as Les Misérables, The Play That Goes Wrong, and Cinderella. After high school, she plans to major in either Musical Theatre or Acting to continue pursuing her passion. After performing onstage with Open Door Community Theatre for the last two summers in School of Rock (Mrs. Hathaway) and Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Alana), Annamarie is honored to step into the role of Producer for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. She is excited to have watched this show come to life from a different perspective than being a performer and is so impressed with the talent on stage. When not supporting ODCT as a performer, producer or active board member she is a Twin Cities Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty. Thank you for suppoerting local non profits and the performing arts!

This is Laurie’s first show with ODCT and she is thrilled to be part of such a talented cast. For Laurie, this is a full-circle moment after being introduced to the Cinderella movie in 1965. Mac is glad to be making her debut with Open Door Community Theatre. Her recent credits include painting for Skeleton Crew, For the People, Into the Woods, and Murder on the Orient Express with The Guthrie Theatre, La Boheme with The MN Opera, and Stones in His Pockets with Theatre Latté Da. She also recently was the Scenic Designer for Matilda with Chaska Valley Family Theater in 2023.

Stacy is so excited to be working on props for Cinderella. Stacy has taken on many roles in Open Door productions, on stage for Little Mermaid, costumes for Shrek and Little Mermaid and now props for Cinderella. When not doing theater, she spends a lot of time reading and singing in choirs. Thanks to her family and friends for all the support throughout the process.

Julie Morgen is simply delighted to join the cast & crew of Cinderella, marking her first production with Open Door Community Theatre. Although she has a background in music & theatre, she herself has not been onstage in over a decade; she is beyond thrilled to collaborate with such an amazing and talented group of people. Julie lives with her husband in Woodbury, where she enjoys collecting houseplants, listening to true crime podcasts, & exploring all the coffee shops the Twin Cities has to offer.

He has played Admiral Boom/Bank Chairman in Mary Poppins and Brom Bones in Sleepy Hollow. Ricky is excited to be premiering in his first show with Open Door Community Theatre, especially under the music direction of his wonderful wife, Madeline Huss. Outside of theatre, he is a member of the tenor section in The Singers, MN Choral Artists. Ricky is a CPA who works as a Financial Reporting Specialist for Laureate Education, Inc. Besides music, Ricky enjoys playing tennis, ping pong, frisbee golf, and volleyball.

Sarah Schmitt is elated to be joining Open Door Community Theatre again, this summer, after having previously worked backstage on ODCT’s productions of School of Rock and The Little Mermaid. Sarah has stage managed with theaters all around the Twin Cities, most recently with Theatre in the Round, Cretin-Derham Hall, Fool’s Fortune Theater, and Ghoulish Delights. She is immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production and work alongside this incredibly talented and dedicated cast, crew, and production team. Cinderella was Maria’s very first musical she ever performed in (fifth grade!) and it holds a very special place in her heart. Drew’s training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Communications from St.John’s University. Favorite past roles include Saunders in Lend me a Tenor, Leo in Leading Ladies, and Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest. Favorite directing work includes 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee along with over ten years of directing for Stillwater Public Schools. When not performing Drew is a part of the English Department at Stillwater Area High School.

Anika is excited to be making her debut with Open Door Community Theatre. She has been in many musicals and productions including School of Rock (Shonelle) with Zephyr’s Broadway by the Bridge and Madagascar Jr (King Julien). She is a seventh grade student at St. Croix Preparatory Academy and enjoys playing goalie of her soccer team when she is not performing.

Talulla is a 10 year old homeschooler who loves singing, dancing, and being on stage. She also plays the piano, has competed in gymnastics since a young age, and enjoys participating in Crossfit with her brother. She has been on stage as Annie in Annie Kids, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast Jr, and Susan in White Christmas. In her free time she loves to play outside with her dog, Penelope. Talulla is thrilled to be a part of Open Door Community Theatre.

Tristina Timm grew up dancing competitively in ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, & pom. She was a part of the National Champion U of M Dance Team and was a professional cheerleader for the MN Vikings and MN Timberwolves. She opened her own dance studio, coached a HS dance team for 10 years, and has choreographed for Pro Cheer/Dance teams and studio dances. Most recently, she played Rita in White Christmas in Fort Myers, FL. Tristina homeschools her two children and helps with her husband’s beverage company.

Luke is excited to be returning for his third Open Door production! He has been in The Little Mermaid and School of Rock with Open Door and was most recently Jack Kelly in Lake Middle School’s production of Newsies Jr. Luke hopes you have a ball at Cinderella!
Mary Wellman (she/her)

Mary is a retired teacher who has been involved in Community Theatre, on and off stage, since 1987. She loves both performing and the creative challenge of costuming, which has been her main focus for a while. Her favorite role is that of Grammie to Jack and Sam. Mary thanks her very supportive husband Fred for living among the costume racks and Amazon boxes.
Jerry Williams (he/him)

Jerry has been music director or orchestra conductor for ODCT productions of Joseph, Godspell, The Little Mermaid and Shrek, and currently serves on the ODCT Board. He is returning to the stage for the first time since 2005, in Inver Grove Heights’ production of Music Man, this August, as a member of the quartet. Jerry enjoys singing with Spirit Song Choir. By day, he is a divorce lawyer, tennis fan and NY Times puzzler.
