Mission Statement
Open Door Community Theatre brings together the considerable talents and deep experience of local volunteers to stage high quality productions, in partnership with and for the benefit of local organizations that serve the needs of the broader community.
Community Outreach
Established in 2019, Open DoorCommunity Theatre (ODCT) is an all-volunteer community theater with a unique mission. Not only do we stage high-quality productions, we give back to our community by donating a portion of our shows’ proceeds to local community charity partners. In our inaugural production of Shrek the Musical in July2019, ODCT donated $10,956 to the Christian Cupboard Emergency FoodShelf in Oakdale, MN!
- July 2019: Shrek the Musical, benefitting the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (now Open Cupboard)
- February 2020: Stars on Broadway 5 -Heroes and Villains, benefitting Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue
- November 2021: SuperSTARS MixTape, benefitting the Aspire Music Foundation
- June 2022: The Little Mermaid, benefitting SoWashCo CARES Education Foundation
- February 2023: Godspell, benefitting Angel of Hope Memorial
- Upcoming February 2024: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, benefitting Joseph’s Coat
