SUMMARY:Seussical The Musical
DESCRIPTION:In this classic and quirky musical based on the beloved characters of Dr. Seuss\, The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton\, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos\, including Jojo\, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers\, but he must guard an abandoned egg\, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule\, danger\, kidnapping and a trial\, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately\, the powers of friendship\, loyalty\, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. \nPlease note: the Saturday\, February 8th 2pm performance will be a sensory friendly option. This performance is for those desiring a sensory-friendly experience including half dimmed house lights\, reduced sound\, activity tables for those who need to take a break\, and the ability to move around the house as needed. This performance is offered for a discounted ticket price. \nWe also offer a Pay What You Can Performance on Monday\, February 3rd. Please feel free to purchase tickets for this performance at whatever rate you see fit. \nA portion of our proceeds from Suessical the Musical will benefit Peacemaker Minnesota.
