Tyler Clatt

Wickersham #3

Tyler is excited for his first show at Open Door CT. Some of his latest shows have been at Ashland Productions including Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast, and Sweeny Todd. He likes to play the trumpet and video games in his spare time.

    Stacey Dolan

    Mrs. Mayor

    Stacey is so happy to be back on the stage for her 5th ODCT production, having also played guitar in the orchestra for 2 ODCT shows! Favorite past roles include Ursula – The Little Mermaid (ODCT), Roz – 9 To 5 (Phipps), and Baker’s Wife (SACT). By day, Stacey works in Human Resources, is a Board member at ODCT, and enjoys time with friends and family when she has it. Thanks to Kyle (husband and #1 fan) for holding down the fort during rehearsals!

      Horton the Elephant

      PREVIOUSLY: Mr. Krabs – The SpongeBob Musical (4 Community Theater), Ned Schneebly – School of Rock the Musical (Open Door Community Theater), Daddy Cane – Bright Star (Chaska Valley Community Theater), Shrek U/S, Papa Ogre, Ensemble – Shrek the Musical (Ashland Productions). Matt wants to thank Jeni for all the support, Jaye for the laughter, and Elissa and Mom for the honesty.

        Cora Freeman

        Jojo

        Cora is a sophomore at Roosevelt High School. She is ever excited to be in her first OpenDoor show! She has been in shows with MPS education (James and and Giant Peach, The Little Mermaid, Descendants, and Beauty and the Beast) and Stages Theater Company (Spookley the Square Pumpkin) She is very excited to share this whimsical show and her take on thinker Jojo with audiences.

          Ariel Gordon

          Who Child

          Ariel is excited to be making her stage debut in Seussical. While this is her first ever musical, she has always enjoyed being on the stage whether singing, dancing or both. Ariel would like to thank Open Door Community Theater for the opportunity to fulfil her dream of being an actress on stage.

            Logan Gordon

            Who Child

            Logan is a 7th grader at Woodbury Middle School. He is excited to be part of his first show with Open Door Community Theater! He most recently performed as Beast in Beauty and the Beast Jr. with Ashland Productions. Other recent credits include Ryan Evans in both High School Musical Jr. at Ashland Productions and High School Musical 2 Jr. with Aspire Music Academy. He also played Maui in Moana Jr at Woodbury Middle. Logan thanks his family and friends for their support!

              Avery Gross

              Max

              Avery is ready to shine, Playing Max the Dog in Seussical this time! Avery’s no stranger to the spotlight. From school plays and shows, she’s always done right. When not on stage, Avery loves to explore. Singing, dancing, and learning much more. She’s thrilled to be part of this Seuss-filled show, And can’t wait for the audience to see her glow!

                Ellieana Jensen

                Young Kangaroo

                Elleiana is 11 years old, and Seussical is her first musical experience. She has been interested in the performing arts since age 3, starting with dancing. During her dance competition years, she competed and placed in the top 3 in numerous high level local and national dance competitions. In 2022 she was a National Pageant Queen and was able to get one of her first modeling experiences while walking the runway in New York Fashion Week. During the summer of 2024 Ellieana’s interest in acting took off. She won Actor of the Year (and Model of the Year) at a performing arts competition in Los Angeles and signed with a management company. She has already recorded five original songs (one written by herself) and plans to start releasing some of the music early this year.

                  Erica Kerstetter

                  Gertrude McFuzz

                  Erica is delighted to be part of this fun production and making her ODCT debut! Recent credits include: Side Show (Violet Hilton, Ashland), Something Rotten! (Bard Girl/Egg, Ashland), Sweeney Todd (dance captain/ensemble, Ashland), and Newsies (Specs, CVFT). When not onstage, Erica works as a clinical project manager for medical device trials and enjoys time with her husband, Tom. She would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering support, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

                    David very excited to be performing in another Open Door show with his daughter Olivia. In his free time, David enjoys embracing his inner goofball.

                      Olivia Kieffer

                      Bird Girl

                      Olivia is thrilled to be taking the stage with her dad, Mr. Mayor. Recent Open Door credits include Cinderella and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. When Olivia is not performing, she is reading books for book club, doing spin class, or going on walks with her pup!

                        Christian Krohn

                        Vlad Vladikoff

                        Christian is excited to be back for his second show with Open Door Community Theater. He was most recently seen on stage as Jean-Michel in Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at The Loft Stage. Christian would like to thank his friends and family for their continued love and support. He also hopes this show may inspire everyone to treat others with love and kindness, no matter how small they are.

                          Matilda Larson

                          Cindy Lou Who

                          Matilda Larson is a ten year old who brings a sprinkle of magic to every stage she steps on. With the sweetness of Cindy Lou Who and the energy of a firecracker. She has played Fan Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” twice (because once just wasn’t enough!) and even ventured into space as an alien in “Space Pirates.” She joined the ensemble in “Frozen Jr.” and sparkled in Ashland’s Holiday Show. With her loving family, always cheering her on, Matilda’s life is a non-stop adventure filled with giggles and joy. Thanks for being here, and get ready to be dazzled and enjoy the show.

                            Max Linneman

                            Who Child

                            Max is thrilled for his debut performance with Open Door Community Theater. He has been acting for the past four years. He is currently a 6th grader at St. Ambrose and is excited to be cast mates with his school music teacher Ms. Schneider. Besides acting he is a competitive dancer, enjoys flag football and boxing. He is humbled and grateful to be working with the amazing ODCT creative team and this extremely talent cast.

                              Amanda Marquis

                              Amanda is so thrilled to be making her Open Door debut! Some of her other recent credits include: “Beauty and the Beas”t with Ashland Productions, “The Scribbler” with Spiral Theater, “SpongeBob the Musical” with 4CT, and “The Producers” with Morris Park players. When not performing (or rehearsing for something) Amanda works as dog walker/cat sitter! Being able to spend time with furry friends, regular human friends, and her family help keep her going. She thanks you for supporting community theater, and hopes you enjoy the show!

                                Annamarie McDonald

                                Bird Girl

                                Annamarie is so excited to be reprising her role as a Bird Girl (16 years later) with Open Door Community Theatre. She has previously participated with ODCT in Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Alana) and School of Rock (Mrs. Hathaway) and had the honor of being producer for last summer’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. When she’s not on stage she is a Twin Cities Realtor, enjoys time with her husband Andy and is a proud ODCT board member.

                                  William McDonough

                                  Yertle the Turtle

                                  William is hyped to portray Yertle to life in Seussical at Open Door Theatre. He first found his love of the stage at Stillwater High School, where he portrayed Poseidon in Trojan Women and Joseph Pulitzer in Newsies and played Javert at in a Tartan High School community production of Les Miserables. William began his college journey studying music education at Gustavus Adolphus College but soon switched to a theater degree, playing Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher. He is currently completing general education credits at St. Thomas with plans to transfer to a conservatory BFA program, likely Baldwin Wallace or Stevens College. For Mom, Dad and Cove, Praying we all find our Solla Sollew.

                                    Maggie Mogren

                                    Sour Kangaroo

                                    From bedtime stories with her dad’s goofy voices to the Broadway soundtrack on family road trips, Dr. Seuss has been a big part of Maggie’s childhood. Now she’s coming full circle in Open Door Theater’s production of Seussical – this time as an adult, after two childhood runs with the show. The rehearsal process has been a lot of fun, filled with new friendships and a reconnection to some childhood wonder. As Maggie steps back into this familiar world, she invites you to lose yourself in the wild, whimsical, and surprisingly profound story that is Seussical.

                                      This is Evans first production with Open Door. He is excited for you all to see the show!

                                        Caleb Potts

                                        The Grinch

                                        Caleb is thrilled to take the ODCT stage for a second time after performing in last year’s production of Joseph! Previously seen at Fringe Fest and with Eden Prairie Players and South Saint Paul Community Theatre, he is excited to step into the Grinch’s fuzzy green—and incredibly comfortable—pants and plans to steal them on closing night. (You better not snitch!!) When he’s not stealing pants and/or Christmas and/or scenes, Caleb enjoys moonlit walks in the graveyard, crafting evil schemes to dognap Clover, and parallel parking.

                                          Maria Schneider

                                          Bird Girl

                                          Maria is so excited to be performing in one of her all time favorite musicals. Suessical is the show that influenced her to try theatre in the first place, so it holds a special spot in her heart. When she isn’t teaching K-8 music, Maria can be found watching movies, writing music, and playing with her cat. Maria would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, and she hopes everyone enjoys the show!

                                            Clara Spurlock

                                            Seussical has been a dream show of Clara’s for a long time. She is very excited for her first production with Open Door Community Theater. She feels very blessed to be a part of this incredibly talented cast and is so thankful that you’ve come to see our show today! Some of her favorite roles she’s played include, Belle in Beauty and the Beast jr, Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda jr, and Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods jr.

                                            Clara would like to thank her parents for their loving encouragement, support, and inspiration. Also her sister Miriam, and all her friends, but especially the Nelsons, and the Kapsners, for the encouragement and confidence.

                                              Brie Stole

                                              Mayzie La Bird

                                              Brie is thrilled to be making her Open Door debut in Seussical! Favorite recent roles include: Jenna in Waitress (Great Theatre) and Alice Murphy in Bright Star (Chaska Valley Theatre). When not onstage you can find her adventuring with her husband and 1-year-old son, Graham. Endless thank yous to Austin’s, her parents and in-laws for helping with Graham so Brie is still able to do something that she loves!

                                                Talulla Timm

                                                Who Child

                                                Talulla is a 6th grader at St. Patrick’s School in Hudson, WI. She enjoys dancing, singing, piano, and acting. Previous theater roles include Annie (Annie Kids), Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast Jr.), and numerous ensemble roles. In addition to theater acting, Talulla has also been featured in several short films and most recently a commercial for Menards.

                                                  Lillian Walker

                                                  Cat in the Hat

                                                  Lillian is a Twin Cities performer with 20+ years of experience in community and professional theatre. She’s thrilled to be playing the Cat in her fourth production of Seussical—fifth, if you count the one-woman version she performed at a family reunion when she was 12! Favorite roles include Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Meg (Brigadoon), and Mayzie (Seussical). Lillian trains at Elsbernd Voice Studio and loves slinging drinks for her friends, thrifting, and doing deep character studies with her boyfriend’s cat. A very special shoutout to her friends and family for sitting through years of impassioned speeches about Seussical. She hopes you fall in love with the world’s greatest show on the face of the earth—or wherever you go!
